Well, we did another round at the doctor. Knowing he wouldn't find anything wrong, I went because my foot hurts - I can barely walk on it. Nothing is wrong. I have lidocane patches on and they are doing nothing. They do nothing because the pain isn't coming from my foot...it comes from my brain misfiring.

While my doctor believes me and is trying to find something to bring me relief, I still feel like people think I am a hypochondriac when I know i am not. The pain is real - albeit not present in the place I am having pain. I've had an ambulance come and get me, then screaming in the ER with kidney stones to find out there aren't any on the sonogram. I've had an orthopedic want to schedule surgery on my arm because he is sure the tendons are coming loose from my elbow just to find nothing there. I've been to the ER for ovarian cysts - nothing - uncontrolled migraines - CT scan shows nothing. it's frustrating. I am thankful there is nothing PHYSICALLY wrong, but that does not negate the pain.

My mom told me to check into the possibilities that all this may have something to do with Aspartame toxicity.

The interesting thing is that I've been tested for 10 of the 16 diseases aspartame toxicity mimics. I'm going to cut out all aspartame for no less than 60 days to see if it helps any (it needs to be out of your body for 60 days before you can see any results).
