What a Busy Weekend

We worked so hard this weekend! The painter finished painting the inside of the house on Friday, so Saturday and Sunday we spent the entire time putting the pictures back on the wall and all the wrought iron back on the walls, etc. The curtains had to be re-hung, the candles had to be put back where they go. Furniture was moved around, windows were cleaned, lighting was mounted.

Whew...it was a lot of work.

But ya know what....seeing my husband's smile as he applauded at the way the living room turned out made it all worth it. Seeing how proud he is in the way we've made this little place our home was all I needed to see to to make my aching bones feel so much better.

So, this is a four-day weekend so we'll work on the office and take the Christmas tree down this weekend. I'm not going to get out of control with Christmas...I'm really going to try to not stress myself out. I guess we'll see how it goes.
